This has something to do with the bfcache, and while I dont know a lot about it, the problem is fixed by adding window.onunload = function(){}; somewhere inside the script tags. Works fine except that I noticed a bug. In Firefox all goes well. But in browsers like Google Chrome or Midori when you just click a link and go to a page, the menu behaves just ok. But if you use browser's refresh button and then hover over the images they just get smaller and smaller and disappear.
