There are a lot of bloggers focus on their blog header, footer, the layout of arrangement, font size, and many more… However, there is still one thing which should be considered: it is the display of datetime of the posts. great collection, thank you.
Never really took notice of the date and time display..but it sure does add life to the design…that got me thinking. nice collection
I like the ones like spryestudios, more like a watermark. Nice collection!
Sure some of these sites have a nice looking/creative way of displaying post time and date. Do we really need a round-up of them like this?….. I don’t think we do.
Oh, I think we should round up everything that is good. We should make up everything even as smallest as the datetime display. I just think we should!
Thanks for good collection.
All are inspirational for designers…
Hey Lam, thanks a lot for mentioning SpyreStudios! Much appreciated
@Jon – You’re welcome. Your site is great and I’m your big fan.
I agree that we do need a roundup like this. I know I was looking at them when we created our site. I ended up going with something very clean and simple.
Thanks for featuring AMTstudios Lam! I think this is a great round up!
Great list, Lam
I’m a fan of ‘humble simplicity’ so my favourite would have to be the CodaCoza one. Personally though, I like to use worded relational dates for posts (eg. 5 months, 2 weeks ago).
Hi Lam
Thanks for including the Echo Enduring Blog in this list!
Do we need a post like this? Probably not. But that doesn’t mean it’s not a good idea! I think this is a great roundup, even if for the simple purpose of getting people to start thinking more about the smaller details of web design. Great job!
Great collection!
Great post. The devil truly is in the details.
It’s inspiring to know someone is paying attention to those agonizing little decisions that designers make.
Nice roundup, thanks!
Hey Lam, Thanks for featuring VagrantRadio!
OK, I dont think its a link-drop as it really is applicable to this, but in the interest of transparency, I designed and developed this site: http://dclevel.com/tag/all-events
Check out the day of the week display next to the month/date display. Thanks!
nice collection, thanks for the post..
